Best Things We Ate Last Week

btwalw_600x400

One could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us, it’s just another hard day at work. We’re showcasing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTV on InstagramFacebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of food porn if this post doesn’t quite cure your fix.

Bone In Duroc Porkchop from Peach & The Porkchop (Roswell)

We always feel welcome & truly taken care of whenever we come into this sophisticated yet cozy spot north of the city. If you’re a meat fan, you have to try the signature pork chop here…it’s truly a carnivore’s dream. An all grass-fed 14 oz. porkchop is served with sautéed spinach & cumin seed fingerling potatoes. The bourbon peach chutney with veal demi glaze served atop the porkchop compliments the dish nicely with its sweet flavor, balancing out the more salty flavors from the meat & potatoes. Roswell Restaurant Week is running until 2/1, so check out the Prix Fixe menu at this spot for more deliciousness!

Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese from Storico Fresco (Buckhead)

If you’re looking for authentic Italian food at lunch or dinnertime, this spot meets both of those needs. We stopped in & downed a bowl of the Tagliatelle, & it was absolutely insane! The classic beef, pork & veal ragu combined for an incredibly flavorful dish that we couldn’t get enough of. The pasta tasted very authentic & it was obvious with every bite that it was crafted with tremendous care. We paired the pasta with a salad & bread to complete the meal, feeling 100% satisfied and ready to come back to try the dinner menu!

Oh My Goodness Turtle Cheesecake from Cheesecaked (Lindbergh/Buckhead)

This adorable dessert spot just opened a new location in the Lindbergh area, so we had to go check it out! Of course we went for the most decadent looking option, so we decided on the Oh My Goodness Turtle cheesecake. The shop’s signature flavored cake is dressed with brownies, caramel, pecans & whipped cream, and we LITERALLY inhaled every bite. The cakes come in individual sizes, like cupcakes, so you can enjoy one without feeling too guilty about all the calories. Go get cheesecaked and let us know which flavor you indulged in!
