A Guide to Father’s Day in Atlanta

If you didn’t already know, Father’s Day is right around the corner. And what better way to celebrate your dad than with some real good food! We put together a list of fun things to do and yummy places to eat this weekend that will definitely make Dad happy!
Start out your Father’s Day the right way with breakfast or brunch from Buttermilk Kitchen! With fried chicken and waffles and a lobster omelet on the menu, your dad will be eating like a king. They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so make it great at Buttermilk!
If you have younger kids, or just really like animals, then you should stop by the zoo! And on Sunday, with the purchase of one regular price adult or child admission, dad’s get in free! Grab some chicken tenders or cheese fries from The Coop food truck and snack on them while watching pandas snack on bamboo!
Taking a walk down the Beltline will make you hungry, so stop in H+F Burger, located inside Ponce City Market. H+F has some incredibly mouthwatering burgers. Choose one of their ten choices of burgers, and prepare to have your mind blown by how good they are. Your dad will be extra thankful that you took him here! We recommend “The Original” burger, it’s a classic, just like your dad!
Does your dad love baseball, beer, and quality time with his kids? If so, then you’re in luck! The Atlanta Braves take on the Phillies this Sunday at 1:20pm! Definitely stop by Terrapin Taproom before the game to grab a beer and some bomb barbeque. Then make your way into the stadium to cheer on our very own Braves! Your dad is going to love this!
For dinner, you HAVE to eat at Two Urban Licks. With a nice outdoor patio and some crazy good food, this place offers nothing less than a great experience. We definitely recommend starting out with the salmon chips and an appetizer. Then tell your dad to order the filet mignon or lobster as his entree, he deserves it! Oh and with the purchase of an entree, your dad can get a free beer! This place is a winner.
