Here’s Where to Get the Most Festive Fall Treats This Season

Slowly but surely, fall is arriving in Atlanta, and with that comes all the basic fall flavors and we are here for it. From freshly baked breads to steaming hot lattes, there’s something so comforting about an apple or pumpkin flavored treat. If you still say that you don’t like pumpkin spice, quit being a hater and check out our list of where to get some of the best fall treats in the city this fall season. With a couple of locations in north Atlanta, it’s not too tough to find a delicious fall treat if you really want one. Order ahead or pop in to their Dunwoody or Sandy Springs location to grab a loaf of their homemade pumpkin bread. It truly doesn’t get better than this. A slice of pumpkin bread can turn any bad day around. Don’t think we were gonna get away without mentioning their apple honey bread or the cranberry orange, either. With a name like Breadwinner Cafe, you can bank on all of their breads being pretty dang tasty.

Doughnut Dollies knows how to make some pastries, and lucky for you, they also love adding a little fall flare to the menu. Their apple cider old fashioned doughnuts have entered the scene for another season of deliciousness. The Original Pancake House is a breakfast staple, and they are starting to churn out some fall classics you know and love. Their apple pancakes are oven baked with fresh granny smith apples and pure Sinkiang cinnamon glaze. If that doesn’t scream fall we don’t know what does. They’ve also got Georgia pecan pancakes that are a mainstay on the menu, but they sound like they would hit the spot on a nice cool, fall morning, so we’re gonna give them an honorable mention.

The season may technically be fall, but depending on the time of day, it could still feel like summer here in ATL. Southern Custard in Brookhaven makes one of the tastiest cold treats around. They offer chocolate and vanilla every single day, along with one specialty flavor. Throughout the fall you can expect to see flavors like pumpkin cheesecake, apple pie, and other delicious creations. This little bakery and sandwich shop is serving freshly made items every day so you gotta get there while supplies last! Right now you can expect to get treats like their freshly baked apple pie, and every Friday morning they offer a special kind of croissant, so as we roll into fall, don’t be surprised if they’re offering one with a hint of pumpkin!
