1. Atrium

675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308

Atlanta has had an explosion of new, trendy restaurants where it’s all about the elegant interiors. Atrium fits into this same vein. Airy, feminine, and a stunning palette of soft pinks and verdant greeks, Atrium has all the ladies flocking to it for a drink. It’s conveniently located right in the heart of Ponce City Market, so you can come for a full dinner or just stop by for drinks and dessert after eating elsewhere in the market. The bananas foster was amazing in particular!

2. Bastone

887 Howell Mill Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318

Do you love mozzarella? Us too. The folks behind Bastone are paying homage to this stretchy, versatile, melty cheese with a wine and mozzarella bar Bastone in West Midtown. Light and bright, Bastone was “designed to feel like an all day happy hour.” The verdict seems to be that the pasta dishes portions do run small, but the selection of meats and cheeses are all quite excellent.

3. Fade and Facet

3547 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Duluth, GA 30096

It’s all about the vibe here! This buzzy, new lounge has been all the talk on TikTok. An intoxicating blend of purples, pinks, and blues. Come here to enjoy their colorful drinks, smoke some hookah, and dig into their shrimp and lobster mac and cheese.

4. How Crispy Express

71 Georgia Ave SE Unit B, Atlanta, GA 30312

Summerhill is getting all the best new places. Case in point: How Crispy Express, a new fast casual spot that’s paying homage to the great chicken sandwich. Their chicken sandwiches are made from chicken thighs, and they’ve even got a lemon pepper wet flavor that mixes buffalo sauce and lemon pepper seasoning. They’ve also got chicken nugs, collards, mac & cheese, and a coca-cola cake with chocolate cream cheese frosting. Yum!

5. Lazy Dog

4532 Ashford Dunwoody Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30346

Comfy, cozy tavern and chain Lazy Dog has opened a new location in Atlanta right in the Dunwoody perimeter. The wok-fired calamari topped with peanuts, plum sauce, and bell peppers were our favorite. There’s a lovely fireplace to cozy up to, so check them out a brisk day this spring for some comfort food and a cocktail.

6. Mujo

691 14th Street NW Suite C Atlanta, GA 30318

The Castelleucci hospitality group (Iberian Pig, Cooks & Soldiers) are bringing a new endeavor to the Westside with an omakase (“I leave it up to you”) only restaurant right off of 14th street. The Mujo experience is a splurge at $205 per person. However, the Executive Chef, J. Trent Harris, has some serious chops–he was sous chef at two Michelin star Sushi Ginza Onodera in Tokyo and New York under master sushi chef Masaki Saito. Their tasting menu changes daily with fish flown directly from Japan and consists of small plates and seasonal nigiri.

7. The Usual

1777 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309

Chef Nick Leahy has opened a colorful modern tavern with fun and exciting flavors on Peachtree Street! There’s so many twists on classics on the menu, from crispy belly loaded fries to a shallot topped burger that you can add a duck egg to. We loved the Parker house rolls and Alabama white wings in particular!
