One Last Hurrah! Yonah Mountain Vineyard’s Crushfest is the Perfect End-of-Summer Trip

It’s hard to believe we’re already almost halfway through August. There’s something about this time of year (after we’ve endured three+ months of blistering Atlanta heat) that seems to bring about the Sunday scaries – except like, for the entire month.

Come August, it’s easy to start asking yourself existential questions. Did we go on the beach trip of our dreams and drink our weight in daiquiris? (Nope). Did we finally commit to the gym and get the summer bod we wanted? (LOL, also no). Did we head to Lake Lanier for the ultimate cookout and lake party? (Also no, but that’s because we are scared of giant catfish, thank you very much).

But there’s still a few more short, blissful weeks before summer ends!  And we’re committed to doing ONE LAST fun activity before the fall comes: barefoot stompin’ on some grapes at Yonah Mountain Crushfest

Yonah Mountain Vineyards is one of the largest and most renowned vineyards in North Georgia, featuring 200 acres and a view that’s truly spectacular. You can head there any weekend for a great daytrip or weekend stay, and have a great time sampling their white and red wine tastings.  Or head on over on August 24th to attend their CrushFest

Just watch this video featuring footage from a past festival. Aren’t the drone shots glorious? And oh, how the music swells. There’s even a helicopter! Not sure why there’s a helicopter but there is one, and that’s pretty excellent and also #fancy.

This year is Yonah Mountain Vineyard’s 10th Annual Crushfest and you’ll be able to catch food trucks, live music, an artisan market, and wine tastings all day long. Ticket prices range from $25 to $40 per person. Though wine, of course, is the main draw, the event is family-friendly and kids under 16 are free!
