¡Orale Guey! Places We’re Celebrating National Taco Day

Thursday, October 4th is National Taco Day and Atlanta has plenty of places that we’ve tried, where you can celebrate. So Orale Guey – let’s dig in and take a closer look at this list.

battered fish tacos from Chido and Padre's
Chido and Padre’s
It’s Buckhead’s newest hot spot and they celebrate the Baja Mexico lifestyle every day. We recently tried their fried fish tacos made with a delicious batter, Veracruz aioli and a red cabbage escabeche. Order the Esquites while you’re there too for a little pre-taco appetizer.

a variety of tacos from taco cantina
Taco Cantina
They started in Smyrna and were a big hit in the Cobb County enclave. Now, they’ve expanded to Old Fourth Ward and are churning out delicious tacos ITP. Check out their carne asada, barbacoa, al pastor, pescado frito and a confit portobello cauliflower taco that’s perfect for your non-meat eating friends.

Hankook Taqueria
We weren’t just going to keep things simple on this taco list – and at Hankook Taqueria they have a unique spin on the delicious snack. Combining the best flavors of Korea and Mexico in a tortilla, try the bulgogi tacos and their sesame fries the next chance you get. They’ll also be on Atlanta Eats this weekend at 5pm.

Taqueria Del Sol
Chef/Owner Eddie Hernandez is dedicated to bringing the most authentic flavors of Mexico to a taqueria as possible, and at Taqueria Del Sol you can taste it in every taco. With a location in Decatur and on the West Side, there’s a taqueria del sol close enough to you no matter what side of the city you live in.

Chicken Tacos from Bar Taco
Bar Taco
Tacos are more than just a simple tortilla with fillings – it’s also a lifestyle. And at Bar Taco, the lifestyle is beautiful. If you’re looking to get a delicious taco and a view of ATL’s beautiful people, head to Bar Taco today.
