Places to get a Bite on National Gluten Free Day

It turns out that food can be just as yummy – and better for your tummy – without gluten. So much so that there is a national holiday for it today – National Gluten Free Day. Some of our favorite Atlanta restaurants have taken this into consideration and added dishes to their menus, minus the gluten, that are absolutely delicious. Whether you have an unfortunate allergy or you’re trying a new 2018 diet, check out our list below.

The Burrata at Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse

Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse: One of Buckhead’s best Italian steakhouse spots is dedicated to having a menu suitable for all restaurant goers. That’s why they have separate brunch, lunch AND dinner menus that are gluten-free. They even have pasta dishes that are made with mouthwatering (and gluten-free) rice fusilli pasta.

Table & Main: This southern tavern menu is chock-full of appetizing meals and the gluten-free options are even better. You can choose from any of the meat and vegetable dishes they have on their everyday menu. Or, you can dine there on Wednesdays when Chef Woody Black prepares an all Paleo menu that lacks in gluten, but bursts with flavor.

Seafood tacos at Bar Taco

Bartaco: All three Atlanta locations of Bartaco are the best places to visit if you love all things tacos and gluten-free. The majority of their menus are gluten-free since they serve their tacos on corn tortillas and have other dish options like rice bowls salads.

Souper Jenny: Souper Jenny is souper good at having daily gluten-free options. Their menu – which consists of healthy soups, salads, and sandwiches – is perfect for a quick, casual gluten-free lunch. While their sandwiches do not fit the part, the savory soups and salads such as their “My Dad’s Turkey Chili” and “Rosemary Tomato topped with Garlic Croutons” are gluten-free. Check the online menu for the location nearest you as it changes daily.
