It’s that time of year again – time for the festival crowd to get one last concert in this summer. Music Midtown kicks off this weekend, and features headliners Kendrick Lamar, Imagine Dragons, Post Malone, and Fall Out Boy. We took a look at each of these acts’ backgrounds and preferences to find the perfect restaurant for their pre concert meal.

Kendrick Lamar – Food Terminal
Kendrick Lamar is at the top of his game, and continues to put out hits without re-inventing the genre. It’s a lot like Food Terminal in Buford Highway. Inspired by the food stalls in Singapore that represent food from all corners of Asia, Food Terminal delivers classic Asian flavors in a modern environment, all on Buford Highway. Plus, Kung Fu Kenny would probably like it, too.

Imagine Dragons – Battle and Brew
Imagine Dragons hails from Las Vegas, the gaming capital of the world. So of course, they’d be perfectly at home at Battle and Brew in Sandy Springs. Featuring multiple places to play games with your friends, eat delicious pub food or try their many beers on tap, you don’t have to Imagine anything to have fun there.

Post Malone – Chicken + Beer
We all saw the news recently that Post Malone had a tough flight where his plane had to make an emergency landing. But something about him (maybe the tattoos on his face) make us think he’s pretty resilient and will want to keep flying. And there’s no safer place to fly out of than Hartsfield-Jackson, right. That’s why we’re recommending Post fly commercial and stop at Chicken and Beer the next time he’s at the airport.

Fall Out Boy – Black Bear Tavern
Fall Out Boy got their start in the Chicago punk scene, and they love the Second City. That’s why the Black Bear Tavern is the perfect spot for them. A relaxed, comfortable spot that’s never highbrow, Black Bear Tavern airs literally every Chicago sport franchise you can think of. This ain’t a scene, it’s a GD sports bar!
