Where to Get The Best Rotisserie Chicken in Atlanta

There’s nothing better than a Rotisserie Chicken – the crispy skin, the fall of the bone tenderness, the juicy marinated flavors – we’ll take that bird down to the bone! But there’s more than one way to make a mouthwatering, slow roasted chicken. We’ve looked at great Atlanta restaurants serving up delicious chickens daily and have listed out ten favorites below. Let us know what we missed on social @atlantaeatstv

One of Atlanta’s longest serving Rotisserie Chicken restaurants, Roasters Rotisserie takes the meat and three (well, two in their case) approach to entrees. With solid veggies and sides like beans, Cole slaw, and collards, there’s something on the menu for every member of your family – assuming they like chicken, of course.

3. El Pollo Dorado

Multiple Locations, Check website for details

This Marietta restaurant calls itself Mexican Fast Food, but the rotisserie chickens in El Pollo Dorado are anything but fast. Translated literally, el pollo dorado means “The Golden Chicken” and after all the time they spend slowly roasting on a spit, you’ll get that beautiful golden brown chicken skin with every order. Having a big event? Get the Party Pack with 20 whole chickens, tortillas, salsa, a pan of beans, a pan of rice and a pan of potato salad – serves 50-60 for under $400! Second location in Acworth.

4. Las Brasas

614 Church St,
Decatur, GA 30030
(404) 377-9121

This Peruvian restaurant in Decatur is popular for the authentic dishes of their homeland – whether it’s the Saltado (Peruvian stir fry), Ceviche, or Chaufa (Peruvian Fried Rice). So, of course they make the perfect Pollo a La Brasa – or Peruvian rotisserie chicken. It’s beautifully brined for hours in advance, and cooked over hardwood with Peruvian herbs.

5. Rotisserie Shop

2615 George Busbee Pkwy NW,
Kennesaw, GA 30144
(678) 909-6315

This Kennesaw based restaurant is run by a chef-driven husband and wife team, who put extra Southern care into each and every bite. They describe themselves as a humble eatery, but don’t let their modesty fool you – they’ve got an incredible menu with delicious Southern dishes like Chicken + Waffles and Shrimp and Grits, along with sandwiches, bowls and salads featuring their rotisserie cooked chicken and pork.

6. KARV

5126 Peachtree Blvd Suite 200B,
Chamblee, GA 30341
(770) 710-0119

This relatively new Mediterranean spot in Chamblee focuses on bowls, pitas, and family style meals featuring whole roasted chickens, pork souvla, braised lamb, brisket and more. With a focus on fresh flavors, building a bowl or pita with their rotisserie chicken makes for a fairly light lunch – and if you’re looking for dinner with the family, the whole chicken meal comes with 2 large sides, pita bread and a sauce.

7. Publix

Multiple Locations, Check website for details

We’d be kidding ourselves not to include one of Atlanta’s biggest grocers on here, but they make some of the City’s best rotisserie chicken, hands down – even if you can’t sit down in the middle of a store and dig in. With flavors like Mojo, Lemon Pepper, Tuscan Herb and more, you can always wander down the aisles to find the perfect side to your chicken flavor.

Rotisserie Chicken from Fire Hen..
8. Fire Hen

47 Irby Ave NW,
Atlanta, GA 30305
(470) 347-3436

Lunch in Buckhead is blazing these days with Fire Hen off Irby street! They make a mouthwatering mediterranean style marinade for their rotisserie chicken that’s soaked in overnight before spinning for a few hours in their coal burning oven. They’re currently redesigning their menu to include more Mediterranean forward sides, so keep an eye on their site for more updates.

9. La Brasa Rustica

4175 Pleasant Hill Rd,
Duluth, GA 30096
(470) 292-3394

This Peruvian Restaurant in Duluth is an area favorite thanks to their authentic, coastal dishes including Ceviche, Chaufa (fried rice) and more. Their Pollo a la Brasa comes seasoned in a blend of spices and house marinade, and is then slow roasted using the heat of all natural, spiced Brazilian hardwood charcoal.

Rotisserie Chicken from Little Rey..

10. Little Rey

1878 Piedmont Ave NE,
Atlanta, GA 30324
(770) 796-0207

Ford Fry has gone the rotisserie chicken route with his very Tex Mex spin, of course, at Little Rey in Buckhead. With tons of tacos, salsa and sides, there’s plenty of the Mexican flavors Fry has become famous for, but the real feature is the whole chicken or the Pollo al Carbon. Each bird serves 3-4 and comes with salsa and chips, along with pints of rice and beans.
