Tailgating Tips to Get You Through the Season

*The below is written by Terry Smith, Owner of Mobile Meat & Seafood*

As we enter the halfway mark of football seasons, the games have more meaning and the fans get crazier! Our favorite part though might be the satisfying game day food, which is delicious whether you win or lose. Mobile Meat and Seafood has three quick and tasty recommendations for entertaining your guests at your tailgating party.

Appetizers: Chicken Quesadillas and Mini Cherrywood Brisket Sliders

For starters, MM&S features two delicious heat-and-eat appetizers that take less than twenty minutes to prepare. Our mini chicken quesadillas have a spicy blend of smoked chicken, Monterey Jack cheese, peppers, and cilantro rolled into a flour tortilla trumpet. Another fan favorite appetizer is the mini cherrywood brisket sliders with caramelized red onion and cherry blended BBQ sauce. You can’t eat just one!

The Entree: Blackened Shrimp Po-Boys

For the main course, make it easy on yourself with Blackened Shrimp PoBoys made with our peeled, cleaned, and deveined shrimp. Instead of frying the shrimp, we suggest grilling them up and finishing with remoulade sauce.

The perfect snack: Turkey Ribs

Our last recommendation is Turkey Ribs! They are a great healthy alternative to the common baby-back pork or beef ribs. Yes, turkey ribs do exist! They are cut from around the scapula bone and they come fully cooked for convenience. Just thaw and marinate in your favorite BBQ sauce or a teriyaki sesame sauce, then put on the grill for 5 minutes each side for an exceptional treat. Perfect for tailgating!
