2.Gu’s Kitchen – Zhong Style Dumplings
4897 Buford Hwy NE #104, Chamblee, GA 30341
Folks go crazy for the addicting Szechuan style spice of Gu’s Kitchen’s Zhong Style Dumplings, served in a savory chili oil blend that’s spicy, sweet, and garlicky. They sell thousands of these dumplings every week! You can even buy the sauce yourself and put it on dumplings (or anything) at home. You can also find “Gu’s Dumplings” locations at Krog Street Market and in Alpharetta.

3.Himalayan Spice – Momo
3145 Briarcliff Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30329
Smyrna is lucky to have Himalayan Spice serving up Tibetan and Nepalese cuisine. And a star of their menu is without a doubt, the “momo,” a dumpling with lots of Chinese as well as South Asian influences. Their Butter Curry Momo is the crossover we didn’t know we needed—freshly made momo served in a savory butter curry sauce. It’s totally worth a trip in and of itself.

4.Lan Zhou Ramen – Pan Fried Dumplings
5231 Buford Hwy NE, Doraville, GA 30340
The hand-pulled and knife-cut noodles are the star of the show at this Buford Highway gem, but don’t engage in dumpling erasure!! Their pan fried dumplings are equally if not more delicious. They take dumplings to a new level with a crispy, crunchy crust.

5.Mary Mac’s Tearoom – Chicken & Dumplings
224 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308
It’s a Southern staple, so it’s no wonder why Mary Mac’s has some great ones. Seasoned well and comforting tender chicken served with thick and doughy dumplings, mmmm. It’s comfort in a bowl. Order up the honey buns and fried chicken for more Southern goodness from this historic spot, open since the 50s at the height of segregation.

Northern China Eatery – Soup Dumplings
