1. Emerald City Bagels

New Yorkers and mother-daughter owners Deanna and Jackie Halcrow opened up this spot in East Atlanta so they could enjoy New York style bagels right here in Atlanta! You’ll love these bagels’ chewy exteriors and denser interiors, made fresh everyday. Lines are out the door, always, but so worth it. There’s tons of bagel flavors, toppings, and add-ons–cinnamon bagels, rosemary sea salt bagels, jalapeño cheddar bagels, whitefish salad, and even vegan cream cheese. Get your fix today!

2. The General Muir

Sidle on up the counter at the General Muir to enjoy the pastrami, matzoh ball soup, and authentic bagels at this New York style deli. Choose your bagel first–there’s sesame, and poppy, and everything–then add a schmear and top it with smoked trout or gravlax. The interior is gorgeous, and they’re also opening soon in Sandy Springs in the City Springs complex!

3. BB’s Bagels

How ’bout some Taylor ham? This low-key, family-owned Alpharetta joint is serving up some of the best bagels in Metro ATL! BB’s bagels are hand-rolled every night and kettle-boiled. They’re perfectly chewy on the inside and absolutely massive, and you can top them with your choice of over a dozen cream cheese flavors. For a lil bit of extra fun, try their rainbow bagel or blueberry bagel!

4. Goldberg’s Deli
