5 Bites to Try at Food That Rocks This Year
Sandy Springs’ gourmet gathering, Food That Rocks, is taking place for one night only Thursday, June 8. This ‘ultimate eatertainment experience’ will bring guests 21 and over unlimited bites from local Sandy Springs restaurants, bottomless wine, beer, and craft cocktail tastings, and live entertainment all night long. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased at foodthatrocks.org.

Brooklyn Cafe
Brooklyn Cafe is an upscale neighborhood restaurant with a sophisticated American flare. They are a staple in Sandy Springs and this year at Food That Rocks they are showcasing their Lobster Bisque recipe with jumbo lump crab and sherry.
McDaniel’s QN2
One of the most known BBQ joints in Sandy Springs, McDaniel’s QN2 is bringing their all-in-one Cup ‘o Q Pork to Food That Rocks. The cup combines their top items such as coleslaw, beans, and pork for a combination of BBQ brilliance
The Select
Right next to the City Green is The Select Restaurant & Bar. This year they are featuring their Crab and Wild Mushroom Tart with Micro Herbs and can be served vegetarian. After the event, The Select is opening for a Food That Rock After Party so the fun doesn’t stop after the event.

Flying Biscuit Cafe
One of the best breakfast, brunch and lunch places in the Atlanta area is joining Food That Rocks and not bringing just one, but two menu items for guests to taste. Starting with their Shrimp & Grits that has Cajun Shrimp with Rustic Tomato sauce on their famous Creamy Dreamy Grits, Flying Biscuit will also have their Stuffed French Toast with Honey Anglaise and Raspberry sauce.
SabaRaba’s
Based out of a yellow shipping container, SabaRaba’s is joining Food That Rocks for its first year and bringing their A-game with their made fresh daily velvety hummus with grilled pita wedge, carrot stick, Israeli pickle, and hot pepper.
