1. Hero Doughnuts & Buns

There’s no shortage of excellent donut spots around ATL, and Summerhill has added one more new one to the mix. Enjoy some absurdly delicious gourmet donuts, donut holes, AND mouthwatering breakfast and lunch sandwiches (AKA “Buns”). Their Buffalo “Super Crunch” sandwich is super popular, served drenched and soft on a perfect fluffy bun. They have a great outdoor space as well for you to sit back and enjoy.

2. Cubanos ATL

A cute-as-a-button Cuban sandwich spot has just opened up in Sandy Springs. Operating out of a commercialized tiny home, Cubanos ATL is serving a small menu of authentic Cuban sandwiches using family recipes plus coffee and flan.

3. Sri Thai Kitchen & Sushi Bar

The super popular Thai and Sushi spot from Duluth and Snelville has now opened a spot intown at Atlantic Station. The menu draws inspiration from owner Winn Mekpongsatorn’s Thai background and past years of experience at various Japanese restaurants, leading to an expansive menu that does both cuisines equally well. The omakase offering is something you shouldn’t miss, and you can find tons of Thai street favorites as well. Find them tucked away on the second floor of the building right by the Pig & the Pearl.

4. Breakfast at Barney’s

Yet another amazing brunch spot has been added to the Atlanta dining scene, and this one is a great place to add a touch of luxe to your life. Walk in through their double gold doors into a gorgeous and chic interior with gold and velvet finishes everywhere. Sit down and enjoy their 14 Karat Gold Pancakes or their Lobster Mac & Greens, with a creamy lobster mac and half fried lobster tail. While most of their offerings come in at a reasonable $15 to $30 range, they do have one eye-popping menu item in case you REALLY want to splurge. Their “Mansa Musa” tower comes in at $1,000 and is served with 14 karat gold pancakes, fried lobster and grits, a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut, and more. Woah!

5. Glide Pizza

For your NY style pizza fix, Glide Pizza is now at your service. Their pies have a light, crispy sourdough crust that’s fermented for 48 hours and house-made mozzarella and sauces. The walk-up window makes it easy for you to hop off the Beltline and grab a ‘za to take home. Now open on Irwin Street in Old Fourth Ward!
