Best Things We Ate Last Week

btwalw_600x400

One could say it’s always a feeding frenzy at Atlanta Eats’ HQ, but to us, it’s just another hard day at work. We’re showcasing the best things we ate last week to give you some food inspiration for the week ahead. Check out AtlantaEatsTV on InstagramFacebook, and Twitter for a constant stream of food porn if this post doesn’t quite cure your fix.

Cioppino from Dantanna’s (Sandy Springs, Buckhead and Downtown)

There are a lot of kick ass seafood spots in the city, and Dantanna’s is no exception — especially its Cioppino, offered exclusively at its Buckhead location. If you can’t decide which of your fave shellfish to order, definitely go with this all-encompassing plate. The dish comes heavily plated with fresh Main lobster, Alaskan king crab, shrimp, mussels, and white-wine poached fish! Who could ask for more? It actually gets better…all of this tender seafood comes atop a bed of linguine and garlic bread. That’s right — garlic bread.

Chicken Tacos from Bartaco (Buckhead, Inman Park and West Midtown)

Mexican can either be hit or miss. Rest assured, if you find yourself at Bartaco in either of its 3 Atlanta locations, your food will most definitely be a home run. Whether you’re a guac or queso kind of foodie, you will find both in abundance here. Now comes the grilled and seasoned chicken tacos. Using house spices, these tacos have a kick in all the right ways. Topped with fresh pico and cilantro alongside a perfectly sliced lime wedge, Bartaco has some of the best tacos in town, hands down!

Double Burger from Bite (Alpharetta)

Nestled in the booming Alpharetta food scene, Bite has proven itself a top contender when it comes to burgers. Inspired by the classic In-n-Out Burger, The Double Burger is always a foodie fave. Bite grinds Short Rib and Brisket in-house, then melts aged American cheese on the patties. To make life a little better, The Double is dressed with house-made bacon bits alongside caramelized onions, all inside a toasted Holeman & Finch bun.
