We’ve put together a list of Christmas pop-ups and holiday pop-up bars for you and your besties or significant other to check out this season. There’s so many fun and festive things to do, you could try a new one every weekend until Christmas!

1. Atlanta Christkindl Market at Buckhead Village
Buckhead Village District
290 East Paces Ferry Road NE
This German holiday market will be held in Buckhead Village from November 25 through December 24. If you’ve never been to the Christkindl Market, it is definitely something you’re gonna want to clear some time on your calendar for. They’ll have 50+ vendors including authentic German food, holiday themed beverages and treats, as well as shopping, live music and more. Take a Saturday and head to Buckhead Village for this festive event. It’ll almost feel like you’re spending the holidays abroad! Only you’ll be about 15 minutes from home instead of 10+ hours away. Be sure to check their hours online before heading over.

2. Happy Who-lidays at Mercantile Social
20 N Main St, Alpharetta, GA 30004
Mercantile Social in Alpharetta is getting decked out for the holidays! From November 8 through December 31 they completely transform into a Who-ville themed bar and have all things Grinch and Cindy Lou Who inspired decorations, cocktails and more. Head on over there if you are really looking to get into the holiday spirit. And if you don’t feel like getting into the spirit, good luck, because even Mercantile Social could put a smile on the Grinches face!
3. Igloos & Holiday Social Bar at Ponce City Market
675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308
Ponce City Market has so much to offer you this holiday season. The Igloos are back at 9 Mile Station at Ponce! Make a reservation and enjoy brunch or dinner from the comfort of your cozy, heated igloo with a beautiful view of the city. Igloos hold up to 6 people so pick your two favorite couples to go out with or rally up your best girls for a unique experience you won’t want to miss out on!
They also have their Holiday Social Bar just inside the tower lobby and it is decorated to perfection. They have transformed the indoor bar to basically resemble the North Pole, and while you’re enjoying the ambiance, make sure you also have a festive drink in hand. All of the magic will be going on through November and December and some holiday events at PCM will carry on through the first week of January so check their website for dates, times and reservations before you go.
For the folks wanting a more upscale night, spend some time at 12 Cocktail Bar in the Ponce City Market tower. They will have some returning festive drinks like the Sleigh Fuel, made with bourbon, cinnamon, eggnog, and coffee, as well as some new cocktails being added to the list. Put on your best peacoat and get ready for the classy holiday party you won’t forget. Reservations are recommended due to the limited amount of space. Make sure to hop in your sleigh (an Uber will be fine, too) and head over to PCM!
4. Bistro Niko

While not technically a holiday bar, you’ll really be hard-pressed to find a more glamorously festive place to spend the holidays than French favorite Bistro Niko. Around the holidays they go all out with the decor, twinkling lights, nutcrackers, garland, and more elegant decorations all throughout the space. Dine on their signature coq au vin and soak in the holiday cheer at one of Buckhead‘s bests! Pro tip: their Ultimate Dining card, good at any Buckhead Life restaurant, is the perfect Xmas gift for any foodie! The Miracle bar is coming back for another year of holiday cheer! This holiday pop-up bar started in NYC in 2014 and due to its success there, has now expanded to not only the entire USA but it has locations all over the world! 6. The Select

There’s no denying that The Select is one of the most beautiful restaurants in town, and this Sandy Springs French & New American eatery is going all out this holiday season with a whimsical winter wonderland theme to wow all your senses. There are delightful and warm holiday drinks to enjoy. Stop by to enjoy some great food with a side of some beautiful scenery! Sippin’ Santa is like the tiki sibling to the Miracle pop-up bar. Instead of Christmas trees think palm trees, and instead of Santa on a sleigh, picture him on a surfboard. You can expect tons of creative tiki inspired drinks, good music, and of course all of the festive decorations and a jolly good time. 8. The Blind Elf at The Blind Pig

The Blind Pig in Buckhead becomes The Blind Elf for the holiday season. They have already transformed into their holiday pop-up and will be serving al a carte options Wednesday-Sunday and then beginning on November 25, The Blind Elf pop-up will be available for all of the holiday cheer 7 days a week and will be offering the Blind Elf experience. This experience will be $54 and include two appetizers and two cocktails per person. The decorations will be over the top, twinkling lights will be everywhere and the holiday themed bevs and bites will be abundant! Walk in’s are always welcome but if you plan on going, a reservation is always good to have.

9. The Blitzen Room at Biltong Bar

Starting the week of Thanksgiving, Biltong Bar will transform into The Blitzen Room for their annual holiday pop-up. They will be “up to snow good” so make sure you join in the fun at Ponce City Market. There will be tons of swanky, vintage holiday decorations as well as some scrumptious holiday themed cocktails that you certainly will not want to miss out on.

10. “The Rink” at Park Tavern

Starting over Thanksgiving Weekend and going through January 16, Park Tavern is bringing back their infamous skating rink that offers a beautiful view of Piedmont Park and the Atlanta skyline. Skating is available every day of the week, so make sure you purchase tickets online so you can skate the night away! And if your feet start hurting, don’t fret. There are stone fire pits for you to kick your feet up and relax, igloo experiences, private holiday cabanas, and don’t forget about all of the festive food and drink options they’ll be serving. They also offer ½ priced bottles of wine every Wednesday, so make sure you check out Park Tavern this holiday season!

Located at The Interlock in West Midtown, Holiday Bar is a good time during every season, but especially around the holidays. It’s a small bar that has an inside/outside concept, with seating at the bar and at some tables inside along with more seats around the fire pit outside. They’re open all day long so you could stop by for a coffee in the morning, or head over a little later and try some cocktails. Some of their Christmas cocktails include the Up All Night, Get The Tank, and the Yippie Kay Yay IPA. Come enjoy all the festiveness while it lasts!

Storico Vino never misses, with their delicious pastas and wine, but when there’s Christmas lights and music surrounding you, it just hits different. Starting December 1, The Grinch’s Holiday Oasis at Tiki Tango will be in full fledge! Beginning on November 12, The Blind Elf pop-up will be available for all of the holiday cheer every Wednesday through Saturday from 6 p.m. till late. Get some friends together and head over to Santa’s Pub, it’ll be here till January 1!
