The Best Places to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Atlanta This Year!

It’s time to feel lucky, Atlanta! St. Patrick’s Day in the A is always a blast – we’ve got great March weather (fingers crossed), perfect Irish pubs throughout the area, and folks decked out in green looking for a fun time. St. Patrick’s Day Party at Fado (in Buckhead and Midtown)

Fado is the ideal spot to spend your SPD weekend! Both the Midtown and Buckhead locations have events lined up through the whole weekend so be sure to check out their websites for more specific details. In Midtown, you can expect the fun to start on Wednesday 3/12 with the Saint Patrick’s Day Pub Quiz and double the prizes! Thursday 3/13 they are giving away pints of Guniess to some lucky winners from 6-8pm. Friday things really kick off with Kegs and Eggs and you can enjoy a fun brunch. Saturday and Sunday are obviously the main event with parades in the street, live music, dancers, the whole 9 yards. You will need tickets to certain events so be sure to get that early bird special and click the link here! Buckhead has a ton of stuff lined up too from 24th Annual St. Baldrick’s Head Shaving Event on Friday and the block party Saturday. Don’t miss it!

ShamRock Fest at Park Tavern 

Park Tavern is hosting their ultimate St. Patrick’s Day party yet again! Saturday 3/15 you can expect all things drink deals, live music and tons of fun. The Vegabonds & Basement Recess will be playing and you won’t want to miss it. The event starts at 2pm so you and your friends can host your own version of kegs and eggs before heading to the park. The event is 21+ and yes, your doggos are welcome to join. Be sure to grab your tickets soon!

St. Patrick’s Day at The Battery

The Battery will be poppin’ and decked out in green all of St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Head to Live! At the Battery and Punch Bowl Social for Irish dancers, music, drink specials and all the green beer you can get your hands on. Get the party started early on March 15th with the Shamrocks & Shenanigans celebration at Live! at the Battery with green Coors Light and Miller Light. Check their website so you know when and where to take part in the fun!

Kegs and Eggs in Virginia Highlands 

Kegs and Eggs is back! Start your bar crawl at Neighbors Pub in VaHi and get your complimentary green beer and egg biscuit. The crawl continues to bars and restaurants like Dark Horse Tavern, Moe’s and Joes, Family Dog and more. Each spot provides drink and food specials for those on the crawl. This is a fun event every year but it does get busy so be sure to have your tickets purchased prior and head to Neighbors to check in for an awesome day!

Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl

Another option if you’re taking the bar crawl route this SPD is the Atlanta St. Patricks’s Day Bar Crawl. First things first: they promise tons of fun and encourage everyone to go all out with the green! From tutus to beads and funky hats, there’s no such thing as too festive. You’ll start at Brewdog on the Beltline and crawl from there to spots like Guac y Margys and Duke’s Hideaway Tiki Bar. There’s several different spots that are participating and freebies being given out all day long. Be sure to grab your tickets before the event! Check in starts at 1pm on Saturday 3/15.
