This ain’t no Cookout burger (though TBH, those slap, too, after a late night out in EAV). Classy West Midtown French spot AIX has an angus burger with gruyere cheese on their late-night “Nit Nit” menu at their adjoining wine bar, Tin Tin, that’s available on Friday and Saturday nights from 11pm-2am. Try the crispy brussel sprouts, the foie roasted oysters, and the goat cheese fritters for the late night meal of kings. Also featured on their late night menu are newly added items like breakfast frites with bacon, gravy, and sausage and shrimp frites with seafood chowder, and gruyere. It’s all yum!
R. Thomas Grill, inspired by the old San Francisco hippie spirit before tech bros took it over, has been keeping Atlanta funky for years and a great option if you’re looking for a restaurant open late in Atlanta. We love this Midtown neighborhood bar–everything on the menu is so good! Their late night menu, available from midnight to 2am, include their A+ chicken wings, sweet potato nachos, and pizza egg rolls. They also serve an excellent brunch on the weekends with half the wait time of other spots if hunger strikes you during the day!
It’s hard to grab a pizza anywhere that’s not Antico or Nina & Rafi, but late night spot Argosy has a wood-fired pie that’s right up there with the rest. Their penelope pie with arugula pesto and goat cheese is excellent, and vegans will love the Escobar pizza with a vegan chorizo and Impossible Burger. They’re open until 2:30am every night except on Sunday nights when they close at midnight!

In this city, we are real. We make mistakes. And we eat Waffle House! Honestly, there’s probably nothing on this list that’s gonna hit the spot better than an order of chocolate chip waffles and scattered, smothered, and covered hash browns. Don’t make it complicated and just head to your nearest #WaffleHome next time you’re hungry at night! Open 24/7!
