Cafe Sunflower’s Raspberry Vegan Chocolate Mousse

While we may be too big fans of fried chicken and burgers to ever go fully vegan, the plant-based options at Cafe Sunflower was truly top tier even if you’re a meateater. Their Pad Thai? Phenomenal. The fried avocado tacos? Out of this world. But as great as their entrees are, you can count on their vegan raspberry chocolate mousse to always steal the show. It’s silky smooth with the perfect ratio of chocolate to raspberry–truly, the stuff of our dreams.

Frankie The Steakhouse’s 7 Layer Chocolate Cake

What’s better than chocolate cake? Chocolate cake with 7 layers! People LOVE Frankie the Steakhouse in Duluth, and after one bite of their Dover sole and we can definitely see why! It’s hard to save room after a fantastic meal at Frankie’s, with filet mignon and seafood towers always tempting us, but the 7 layer cake is totally worth it. It’s fabulously moist and rich, and it’s absolutely shareable–our 8 or so person TV crew shared one of these slices between all of us and still had a ton leftover!
