7 Fun Things to Do in Atlanta This Month
In a city as vibrant as Atlanta, there are endless things to do it can be overwhelming! But here are some of upcoming events this February that we’ve marked down on our calendars as absolutely essential, with good times, great food, and more in store!
1. Hampton + Hudson’s Galentine’s Day Brunch – February 12, 2022, 10am-2:30pm. Celebrate with the ladies you love with this annual Galentine’s Day Brunch event! Enjoy bellinis, champagne and rosé specials all day. There will be a Galentine photo booth, and guests will receive a Galentine’s limited edition print while supplies last. Reservations are not required but can be made by emailing [email protected]. The restaurant’s regular brunch menu will also be available.
2. Fetch Park Buckhead’s Puppy Bowl – February 13, 2022, 2pm-3pm. The cutest game day idea in town! This event benefits Canine Assistants, a nonprofit that trains and provides service dogs to children and adults with disabilities. and features live music from 12 to 2pm, a “Puppy Bowl” featuring puppies from Canine Assistant from 2pm to 3pm, and a player meet and greet from 3-4pm with a puppy kissing booth. And of course, the Super Bowl will be playing afterwards on their 30-foot big screen!
3. Cooks & Soldiers’ “Feeling Good as Hell” Cocktail Class – February 13, 2022, 4pm. Cooks & Soldiers, a favorite of ours for tapas in West Midtown, is hosting a cocktail class! For $50 per person, learn how to make (and enjoy) fun cocktails like the “Texts from my Ex,” “Nothing Good Happens after 1 a.m.” and “Just a Friend!” Reserve your spot by emailing [email protected].
4. TASTE Benefiting Meals on Wheels Atlanta – February 18, 2022, 8pm. Enjoy an evening of unlimited curated “tastes” from over 25 food and beverage vendors in the 22,000 square foot Chattahoochee Food Works food hall AND an open bar! This great night out benefits the amazing mission of Meals on Wheels Atlanta, which works to end senior hunger in the Atlanta area. Tickets are $175 per person.
5. The Blind Pig’s Valentine’s Day Pop-Up “The Blind Cupid” – Through February 28. Our favorite Buckhead speakeasy has transformed into a Valentine’s wonderland for the month of February! Check out “The Blind Cupid” for fun themed cocktails amid their over-the-top pink and floral decorations. It’s perfect for Valentine’s or Galentine’s! Make a reservation online.
6. Tucker’s Restaurant Week – February 23 through February 27, 2022. Save the date! The city of Tucker is hosting its second annual restaurant week featuring special prices and menu items from nearly 20 restaurants! Often overlooked for other parts of town, make no mistake about it: Tucker’s dining scene is on fuego. The deals and menu items for its restaurant week are still being finalized, but with great options from Hot Betty’s to Farmed Kitchen & Bar to Tucker Brewing Company to Ford’s BBQ to Matthew’s Cafeteria, we’re SO stoked to see what these all-star restaurants have in store.
7. Petite Violette’s Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre – Weekly Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 pm. For a unique night out, visit renowned French restaurant Petite Violette for a murder mystery interactive event! The event showcases unique and hilarious murder mysteries with live actors as well as audience participation. Tickets are $75 per person and include hors d’oeuvres from 6:45 to 7:15pm, a fabulous four course dinner, and a glass of wine.
