1. 1920 Tavern

Get ready to be transported back to the 20’s at this downtown Canton Street favorite. The restaurant has a comfortable, speakeasy vibe with dimmed lights and old timey pictures on the walls. They’ve got just about anything you might be in the mood for on this menu from seafood dishes and burgers to delicious dips, salads, and sandwiches. Start off with the Hawaiian Lamb Sliders or the Bayou Fried Shrimp. For your main course, go for the boneless short ribs or the paella. This place is the bee’s knees, head over to 1920 Tavern and enjoy!

For Peruvian and Mexican fabulousness, check out A-Pollo in Roswell! They’ve got Peruvian rotisserie-roasted chicken, a total delicacy if you’ve never had it before, and great hand-made street tacos with all the carne asada and carnitas your heart desires. The interiors are a little rustic, but this hole-in-the-wall spot is more than worth the visit.

Oh, how we (and all of Roswell) loves Fellows! Cafes just don’t get much cuter than Fellows Cafe. Their patio is the perfect place to relax after a hike at Roswell Mill. Their hot cakes are also super fluffy and dreamy and pair perfectly with your latte!

There aren’t a lot of things better than discovering a great little sandwich shop for lunch. This restaurant has such a comfortable, homey feel to it. Probably because it is *literally* a house! Every sandwich here is fully loaded with all of the toppings that you please, so you won’t leave here feeling hungry. Some fan favorites are the fried green tomato sandwich, smoked turkey, and the creole Cuban sandwich. They also serve a pickle plate that comes with several different pickle flavors, a great thing to snack on while you’re waiting on your food.
